A ballast mat is an elastic sheet-like component laid between the ballast layer of a railway track bed and the subgrade. Product Application

Through their own elasticity, they buffer the impact of train loads, reduce the extrusion wear and pulverization of ballast particles, and extend the track bed screening cycle by 2-3 years. At the same time, they can evenly distribute loads to avoid local settlement of the subgrade, reduce vibrations and noise generated by train operation, and improve the stability and durability of the track system. Product Packaging & Delivery
Ballast mats are usually packaged in rolls, wrapped with high-strength waterproof woven cloth or plastic film, and the edges are protected by reinforcement strips to prevent wear. Each roll of mat material is fixed with strapping to ensure that it does not loosen during transportation. To facilitate loading and unloading and save space, the standard roll diameter is controlled at 1.5-2 meters, and the length is customized according to customer needs.
During transportation, it needs to be placed horizontally on a flatbed truck, with no more than 3 rolls stacked in multiple layers, and isolated with anti-slip pads. It is strictly forbidden for forklifts to directly puncture the roll core, and pallets or lifting equipment must be used for operation. It is necessary to avoid sun and rain throughout the process, and rainproof cloth must be covered in extreme weather. When transporting in sea containers, anti-collision corner guards must be installed at both ends of the roll, and fixed to the box to prevent rolling.
