Crane Rail Clips
A crane rail clip, also known as a welded crane rail clip, welded rail fixing device, steel beam railing device, or welded pressure plate, is used to press and fix the rail in place. Typically, it is welded onto I-beams and sometimes onto steel plates that are pre-buried in concrete.
Crane rail clips can be classified into WJK, SWJK, and HWJK series, including types like TG38, TG43, TG50, TG60, QU70, QU80, QU100, and QU120. These clips consist of several components, including the base, upper cover, wearing shaft, and flat washer.
Welded rail clips can be fixed directly to the steel surface supporting the rail. This design simplifies construction and maintenance access, making it easier to service cranes while in operation.
Some types of crane rail clips have a compact design, allowing them to be used with cranes equipped with guide rollers. All clips are adjustable, but the adjustments are made within the limits defined by structural engineering design practices. It is typically required to ensure that the centerline of the rail aligns with the thickness of the crane runway beam web.
