Appearance Quality of Fishplate
The rolled rail should be straight, without bending or twisting. Local bending and torsion of light and heavy rails, as well as their corrected deformations and the inclination of the rail end faces, must not exceed the standard requirements.
The surface of the rail should be clean and smooth, without defects such as cracks, scars, or scratches. The end surfaces must be free of shrinkage marks and interlayers. Allowable surface defects and the extent of geometric deviations for both light and heavy rails must not exceed the limits specified in the standards.
