Product Introduction
Rail Pad is the core component of the railway fastener system. It is usually laid between the rail and the sleeper (or iron pad). It ensures the stable operation of the rail system through three functions: elastic buffering, insulation isolation, and load dispersion.
Rail Pad materials mainly include rubber, polyurethane, EVA, etc., and the performance of different materials varies significantly: rubber pads are cost-effective and suitable for ordinary railways; polyurethane pads are high in strength and can withstand loads of more than 300kN in heavy-load railways; EVA pads have excellent insulation performance, and the insulation resistance can reach more than 1×10¹⁰Ω, and are often used in urban rail transit to ensure the stability of track circuit signals.

Excellent insulation performance: EVA rail pad can effectively block rail current leakage and ensure stable transmission of track circuit signals.
Good elasticity and shock absorption: moderate hardness range, can absorb wheel-rail impact energy, reduce noise, strong weather resistance, not easy to crack due to high and low temperature aging.
Lightweight and chemical resistance: low density, lighter than rubber pads, and resistant to acid, alkali, grease corrosion, long service life.
Applications
Urban rail transit: used in subways, light rails and other scenarios to meet signal insulation and noise reduction requirements (such as with SKL, WJ series fastener systems).

HDPE Railway Pad

High wear and impact resistance: high molecular weight (up to millions), wear resistance is 2-3 times that of ordinary rubber, can withstand frequent heavy-load train rolling, not easy to wear and break.
Resistant to environmental stress cracking: stable performance in the temperature range of -60℃-120℃, strong resistance to ultraviolet and chemical media corrosion, suitable for open-air railway scenes.
Low friction coefficient: smooth surface, friction coefficient ≤0.3, can reduce the resistance of the rail during lateral displacement, and cooperate with the gauge baffle to maintain the stability of the gauge.
Applications
Heavy-load railway: used for freight lines with axle weight ≥ 30 tons (such as Daqin Railway), carrying loads exceeding 300kN, dispersing rail pressure to sleepers.
Coal mines and mining railways: in harsh environments such as dust and humidity, the service life is extended by wear resistance and corrosion resistance.

Rubber railway pad
