Rail pad, also known as rail rubber pad, is a necessary part of railway track fasteners. They are elastic elements installed between the rail and the sleeper (or rail support), primarily designed to absorb shock and vibration generated during the operation of trains or lifting equipment. These pads help extend the service life of the track system and enhance the stability of operation as well as the riding or handling comfort.

HDPE Railway Pad
The HDPE rubber rail pad is made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) or HDPE–rubber composite material. It is installed between the rail and the sleeper to distribute wheel loads, absorb impact, reduce wear, and provide excellent insulation, corrosion resistance, and weather resistance.
