As a key component in high-speed railway construction, the WJ-8 railway fastener system plays an important role in ensuring the stability of tracks and the safe operation of trains, and has a wide range of specific application scenarios.

High-speed railway shoulder ballastless track laying

The WJ-8 system is designed for high-speed railway shoulder ballastless track and is an indispensable component of this type of track structure. In the construction of high-speed railway lines, ballastless tracks are widely used due to their high stability and low maintenance. The WJ-8 fastener system can tightly connect the rails with the sub-rail infrastructure, such as concrete sleepers or track plates. Its elastic non-separated structure with iron pads, combined with concrete shoulders, can effectively transmit and disperse the vertical, lateral and longitudinal forces generated by train operation, ensuring that the track remains stable under the frequent impact of high-speed trains, with accurate track gauge, to ensure safe and smooth driving. The WJ-8 railway fastener system has been widely used in the laying of shoulder ballastless tracks on many major high-speed railway lines such as the Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway and the Beijing-Guangzhou High-Speed Railway.

Adapt to different line resistance requirements

The system is highly flexible and can adapt to a variety of line resistance requirements. The same iron pad can be installed with W1 type conventional buckle pressure spring bar and X2 type small buckle pressure spring bar, and with rail pads (rubber pads or composite pads) with different friction coefficients, different line resistances can be obtained. In general sections, a large resistance configuration is used to ensure the stability of the rails and prevent the rails from creeping due to the longitudinal force generated by the train operation; in some special sections, such as bridges, in order to reduce the impact of the longitudinal force on the bridge structure, a small resistance fastener configuration is used, and components such as X2 type spring bars are used to meet specific engineering needs, so that high-speed rail lines can operate safely and efficiently under different environments and engineering conditions.

Meet the needs of track geometry adjustment

The WJ-8 railway fastener system has good track geometry adjustment capabilities. By replacing gauge baffles of different specifications, the gauge can be adjusted continuously and steplessly, with an adjustment amount of about ±4mm. The gauge deviation can be accurately corrected during track laying and later maintenance to ensure that the train wheelset fits well with the track. At the same time, the height adjustment amount of the rail can reach 30mm. The use of under-rail fine-tuning pads and iron pads to adjust the height pads can effectively deal with the unevenness caused by track foundation settlement, rail wear, etc., maintain track smoothness, extend track service life, reduce vibration and noise during train operation, and improve riding comfort.
