The Fast Railway Fastener System is mainly composed of the following components, each of which has its own unique function:

Spring clip: It is one of the key components of the Fast railway fastener system and is usually made of high-strength spring steel. Its main function is to provide buckling pressure, and to buckle the rail tightly on the sleeper through its own elastic deformation, so as to prevent the rail from loosening or shifting during the train operation, and ensure the reliable connection between the rail and the sleeper. At the same time, the spring bar can also absorb part of the vibration and impact energy generated by the train operation, play a role in buffering and vibration reduction, reduce damage to the track structure, and extend the service life of various track components.
Toe Insulator : An insulating component mounted on the clip clamping end (toe), usually made of engineering plastic. It can block the current conduction between the clip and the rail, avoiding electrical corrosion caused by metal contact; at the same time, by wrapping the clip end, it can reduce vibration wear, extend the service life of the clip, and ensure the stability of the clamping pressure.
Rail Pad : Located between the rail and the sleeper, it is made of elastic rubber or composite materials. Its main function is to buffer the vertical vibration and impact of the train during operation, reduce the direct pressure of the rail on the sleeper, and reduce the fatigue damage of the track components; at the same time, it has insulation properties, blocks the current conduction between the rail and the sleeper, and meets the electrical safety requirements of the electrified railway.

Rail Shoulder : Usually refers to the metal support structure embedded in the sleeper (such as embedded iron seat), which provides a mounting base for the fastener system. It can fix the position of the gauge block and the spring bar, evenly distribute the load transmitted by the rail to the sleeper, and limit the lateral displacement of the rail to enhance the stability of the track structure.

Side Insulator : It is mostly a gauge block made of plastic or rubber, installed between the two sides of the rail and the sleeper. Its main function is to adjust the gauge (calibrate the ± gauge deviation through different specifications and models), and at the same time isolate the electrical connection between the rail and the sleeper to prevent the influence of stray current; in addition, the side insulator can also abut against the side edge of the rail bottom to restrict the lateral movement of the rail and assist in maintaining the gauge accuracy.

Product Installation
The plastic construction and anchor inserts are cast into the pre-cast element.
The cast shoulders are located on the plastic sub-plate.
The anchor bolt is torqued to secure cast shoulders.
The rail pad and post insulators are installed in the rail seat.
PANDROL FASTCLIP clips are installed into the parked position.Finished concrete elements are normally delivered to the construction site in this configuration.
Once the sleepers are placed and the rail has been threaded,clips are driven from the parked to the working position.
