The WJ-8 railway fastener system is an important component to ensure the safe and stable operation of high-speed railways. Its scientific design and excellent performance provide solid support for the stability of high-speed rail tracks.
The WJ-8 system is composed of multiple components. Metal parts such as spiral spikes, spring bars, and gauge baffles cooperate with non-metal parts such as insulating gauge blocks and rail pads. Among them, spring bars are divided into W1 type and X2 type. The former is used in general areas, and the latter is suitable for small resistance demand scenes such as bridges; various specifications of gauge baffles can realize gauge adjustment, and embedded casings provide a stable anchoring foundation for spiral spikes.

The system has significant performance advantages. Structurally, the elastic non-separated design with iron pads, combined with concrete shoulders, can effectively transmit and disperse the lateral and longitudinal forces generated by train operation, and enhance track stability; in terms of insulation performance, engineering plastic insulation blocks ensure the safety of track circuits and maintain good insulation resistance even in bad weather; the track gauge can be adjusted flexibly, and continuous stepless adjustment of ±12mm can be achieved to meet the needs of track laying and maintenance.

The WJ-8 system also plays an important role in application and maintenance. In general areas, a large resistance configuration is used to ensure the stability of the rails, and a small resistance configuration is used to reduce the structural stress in special areas such as bridges. Daily maintenance requires regular inspection of components such as the pressure of the spring clip and the tightening status of the bolts, and timely handling of wear, rust and other problems, so as to extend the service life of the system and continuously ensure the safety of high-speed rail operation.
