Packaging:

For heavy rails with longer lengths, multiple bundling methods may be used to enhance the stability of the packaging.
End protection: The ends of heavy rails are easily damaged by collisions during transportation, so special protective covers or protective plates are used to protect the ends. The protective covers are generally made of plastic or rubber, which can effectively buffer the collision force and prevent the ends from deformation or cracking.
Moisture-proof treatment: In order to prevent the heavy rails from getting damp and rusting during transportation, a layer of anti-rust oil will be applied to the surface of the heavy rails or moisture-proof packaging materials will be used for packaging. In some cases, desiccant is placed inside the packaging to absorb moisture in the air and maintain a dry environment inside the packaging.
Transportation
Railway transportation: This is one of the most commonly used transportation methods for GB heavy rails. Heavy rails themselves are important materials for railway construction. Heavy rails can be directly transported to designated railway construction sites or warehouses by rail transportation. In rail transportation, special railway flatbed trucks are usually used to load heavy rails. The length and carrying capacity of the flatbed truck need to be selected according to the length and weight of the heavy rails to ensure transportation safety.
Road transportation: For some places with short distances or inconvenient rail transportation, road transportation will be used. Use large flatbed trucks or trailers to transport heavy rails. When loading, pay attention to the placement order and fixing method of the heavy rails to prevent movement or rolling during transportation. At the same time, according to road conditions and traffic regulations, the transportation route should be reasonably planned to ensure the safety and smoothness of the transportation process.
Water transportation: If the heavy rails need to be transported to a distant place and there are suitable water transportation conditions, water transportation will also be used. Heavy rails are usually loaded onto special ships. When loading, they must be stacked and fixed properly to prevent them from shifting or being damaged due to the shaking of the ship during navigation.
