Rail anchors are used for fastening systems where additional anti-creep arrangements are required. Anchors are made of rolled steel bars of varying cross-sections and in various shapes. Rules for the application of rail anchors
The rail anchor should be located on the gauge side of the rail base against the same tie face on the opposing rail.
The rail anchor must hold the rail base tightly and securely and fully support the rail tie face.
