Structural features

SKL series: It belongs to the spring clip fastener system, with spring clips as the main elastic clamping components. For example, the SKL12 type fastener is a ballastless track fastener, which is a separate fastener for the sleeper track plate without concrete shoulder. Separate screw holes are set at both ends of the ribbed base plate, and the turnout bolts are used to connect the sleeper/track plate.

KPO series: It is a clip fastener system, which mainly relies on clips to clamp the rails. The structure is relatively simple, consisting of KPO clips, spiral spikes, washers, insulating gauge blocks, rubber pads and other components.

Elastic performance

SKL series: The spring clip is made of spring steel, has good elasticity, can effectively buffer the vibration and impact generated by the train running, reduce damage to the track structure, and provide better elastic support for the track.

KPO series: Although there are also elastic components such as rubber pads, the overall elasticity mainly comes from rubber pads, etc. In comparison, its elasticity is not as direct and obvious as the elastic bars of the SKL series spring bar fastener system. However, by reasonably designing the performance of the rubber pads, a certain degree of buffering and shock absorption requirements can also be met.
