Railway Fish Plate
The 2R65 railway fish plates are used in the construction or repair of wide railway tracks using R65 or R75 type rails. When fastening the rails together with the 2R-65 plates, four M27x160 stop bolts are used, for which the plate has 2 oval holes of 40x30 mm and two round holes D30 mm.
The special shape of the plate with two heads makes it possible to guarantee the required degree of tightening and, consequently, the tight fit of the rails.
To fasten R65 and R75 rails, four-hole plates with a length of 800 mm are manufactured, plates are marked 2R-65.
The plates are made of fully acidified M54 mild steel with a carbon content of 0.45-0.62%, a temporary tensile strength of not less than 860 MPa, elastic limit of not less than 540 MPa, Brinell hardness between 235-388 HB.
