Crane rails need to withstand huge wheel pressure and frequent impacts. Rolling technology has become the core force to improve their performance through a unique processing method.
In terms of shape precision shaping, rolling technology uses the strong pressure of the rolling mill to accurately roll the billet into the specific shape and size required by the QU series crane rails. The high-precision roller design of the rolling mill can control the key dimensional errors such as the head width and waist thickness of the rail within a very small range, ensuring perfect matching with the crane wheel and reducing wear and abnormal stress during operation.

Plastic deformation during rolling can significantly improve the internal structure of the rail. High-temperature rolling causes the coarse grains inside the billet to be broken and recrystallized to form a fine and uniform grain structure. This refined grain structure allows the strength and toughness of the rail to be improved simultaneously, and can effectively disperse stress and reduce the risk of cracks when bearing heavy loads of cranes.

The multi-pass rolling process can also optimize the mechanical properties of the rail. By properly controlling parameters such as rolling temperature, reduction and rolling speed, a beneficial residual compressive stress layer can be formed on the surface of the rail, greatly improving its wear resistance and fatigue resistance. Actual measured data show that the wear resistance of crane rails produced by advanced rolling technology can be improved by 20% - 30%, and the fatigue life can be extended by more than 40%, which effectively guarantees the safe and efficient operation of cranes.
