U71Mn is a medium manganese low-alloy rail steel with increased manganese content based on the chemical composition of carbon steel. Its chemical composition contains 0.65%-0.76% carbon, 0.15%-0.35% silicon, 1.10%-1.40% manganese, and no more than 0.030% sulfur and phosphorus, and no more than 0.030% vanadium and niobium, respectively.
