The WJ-8 fastener system is a kind of ballastless track fastener system developed to meet the technical requirements of the German passenger car line fastener system. The fastener system is designed under the limited conditions of the size and position of the original plate type and the double-block ballastless track bearing groove, and is an elastic non-separating fastener structure with an iron rail pad.

  • The WJ-8 fastener system uses an iron rail pad with concrete shoulders to transfer lateral train loads, ensuring stability.

 

  • Plastic insulating blocks buffer rail impacts and improve electrical insulation. Gauge baffles maintain track gauge.

 

  • Various elastic rail clips and rubber or composite pads allow adjustable friction for seamless tracks. Spring strips provide strong elasticity and fatigue resistance.

 

  • A rail pad layer under the iron pad adds cushioning, made from durable thermoplastic elastomer.
