In addition to assisting spring bars to fix rails and accurately maintain the gauge, they can also play a good electrical insulation role, prevent current leakage between rails and sleepers, and ensure the safety of the electrified railway power supply system.
Rail pads are generally made of rubber or polymer materials and placed between rails and sleepers. Like a "buffer", they absorb the huge impact energy generated by the passing of trains, reduce the rigid contact between rails and sleepers, reduce wear, extend the service life of rail components, reduce train running noise, and optimize the environment along the railway. Bolts are responsible for firmly connecting the components to ensure the stability of the entire system structure.
On high-speed railways, the Fast system can adapt to the high-frequency vibration and huge dynamic loads generated by high-speed trains with its strong buckle pressure and good elasticity; in heavy-load railways, the high strength and durability of its components can withstand the long-term heavy pressure of heavy-load trains; in urban rail transit, the system has obvious advantages in shock absorption, noise reduction and electrical insulation performance, which not only ensures driving safety, but also improves passenger comfort and the quality of life of surrounding residents.
