The specifications of E-type railway fastener system are rich and varied, designed to adapt to different railway working conditions.
As the core of the system, E-type spring clips have many specifications and models, such as the common E1609, E1809, E1817, E2007, E2009, E2055, etc. Although there is no unified standard interpretation of its model naming, the first two digits are generally related to the rail type or key size applicable to the spring clip, and the last two digits mostly reflect the design parameters of the spring clip itself. From the perspective of size, different models have differences in the opening size, buckling length, thickness, etc. of the spring clip. For example, some models may have a spring clip diameter of 16mm, 18mm or 20mm, corresponding to different mechanical properties.

In terms of mechanical performance specifications, buckling pressure and elasticity are key indicators. Taking buckle pressure as an example, the buckle pressure of the E2009 model is relatively large, which can reach about 13-18kN. It is suitable for high-speed or heavy-load railways and can resist the huge force generated by train operation; the buckle pressure of the E1809 is generally 10-15kN, which is suitable for ordinary trunk railways and balances cost and performance. In terms of elasticity, different models are also designed differently. For example, the E-type spring clip used in urban rail transit, in order to take into account the noise reduction needs, its elastic design can better absorb the vibration generated by train operation and reduce noise transmission.

In addition, different specifications of E-type spring clips are also distinguished in material selection and manufacturing process. The E-type spring clips commonly used in heavy-load railways may use high-strength spring steels such as 60Si2MnA and 60Si2Cr. After special heat treatment process, the material strength and fatigue resistance are improved to ensure long-term bearing of repeated loads of heavy-load trains; while the E-type spring clips of ordinary lines use lower-cost materials and conventional processes to reduce production costs while meeting the performance requirements. Its manufacturing standards refer to DIN 17221, BS 970, GB/T 1222, etc. to ensure reliable quality.
The E-type spring bar in the E-type railway fastener system has a rich specification system, from size, mechanical properties to material technology, which is fully adapted to various railway scenarios from high-speed to ordinary, from light load to heavy load, ensuring the stable operation of railway tracks.
