Rolling process
Advantages of universal rolling mill production line: QU70 rails are manufactured using universal rolling mill production line, which is an advanced rolling technology. Universal rolling mill can roll steel in multiple directions to achieve precise control of complex cross-sectional shapes of rails. Compared with traditional rolling methods, it can better ensure the dimensional accuracy and surface quality of rails, improve production efficiency and reduce production costs.

Rail head finishing rolling: The rail head part is the key part of the rail to bear the load, and its quality directly affects the performance of the rail. The rail head of QU70 rail is formed by 7 passes of finishing rolling. This multi-pass finishing rolling process can gradually process the rail head accurately, making the shape and size of the rail head more precise and the surface smoother. Each pass of rolling has strict process parameter control, including rolling force, rolling speed, temperature, etc., to ensure that the quality and performance of the rail head meet the design requirements. Through 7 passes of fine rolling, the surface roughness of the rail head can be controlled within Ra6.3μm. Good surface quality can reduce the friction between the wheel and the rail, reduce wear, and increase the service life of the rail. It also helps to reduce the noise during the operation of the crane.
Dimensional accuracy control
Strict tolerance control: The key dimensional tolerance of QU70 rails is stricter than the GB standard, which reflects its high-precision manufacturing requirements. The rail height tolerance is controlled at ±0.8mm, and the rail bottom width tolerance is controlled at ±1.0mm. Such strict tolerance control enables multiple sections of rails to achieve a high degree of smoothness when spliced. During the operation of the crane, the smoothness of the rail is crucial. Minor dimensional deviations may cause vibrations in the crane, affecting the stability and service life of the equipment. Through precise dimensional control, the QU70 rail effectively reduces the vibration of the crane during operation and improves the safety and comfort of operation.

Waist slope design and bending stiffness improvement: The specially designed 1:3 slope of the waist is a major feature of the QU70 rail. This slope design enhances the bending stiffness of the rail, allowing the rail to better withstand the bending stress generated during crane operation. According to actual measurements, the bending strength of the QU70 rail is 25% higher than that of ordinary rails. This performance improvement not only helps to extend the service life of the rail, but also improves the safety of crane operation. In actual applications, the load of the crane will cause the rail to bend and deform, and the waist slope design of the QU70 rail can effectively resist this deformation, ensuring that the rail maintains good performance during long-term use.
The excellent performance of the QU70 rail in rolling process and dimensional accuracy control makes it a high-performance crane rail that can meet the high requirements of modern heavy lifting equipment for rails, providing a strong guarantee for the efficient and safe operation of industrial production.
