Its super-strong load-bearing capacity is its core advantage. Using high-purity micro-alloy steel such as U75V, after quenching and tempering heat treatment, the yield strength exceeds 400MPa, and the tensile strength reaches more than 700MPa, which can stably withstand the continuous impact of trains with axle loads of 30t and above. The thickened rail waist design (thickness increased by 15% compared to 60kg heavy rails) increases the section inertia moment by 20%, and can increase the wheel-rail contact stress dispersion ratio to 1:3.5, avoiding plastic deformation of the rail head or fracture of the rail waist, and adapting to the needs of 10,000-ton heavy-load train formation. ​

The wear resistance and fatigue resistance are particularly outstanding. After full-length quenching treatment, the surface hardness of the rail head reaches 380-420HBW, which is 30% higher than that of ordinary heavy rails, and the wheel-rail contact fatigue life is extended to more than 30 million gross weight ton-kilometers. On the mainline railway with an annual transportation volume of more than 400 million tons, its wear resistance can control the annual wear of the rail surface within 0.3mm, greatly extending the rail replacement cycle. At the same time, the oxygen content in the steel is reduced to ≤20ppm through the out-of-furnace refining process, and the inclusion size is controlled below 5μm, which significantly improves the fatigue resistance and can withstand millions of alternating stress cycles without cracking. ​

Structural stability ensures long-term smoothness of the line. The 150mm wide rail bottom design increases the contact area with the sleeper. With the elastic fastener system, the lateral resistance is increased to more than 12kN/m, which can effectively resist the expansion of the track gauge caused by the centrifugal force of the train in the curved section. The symmetrical cross-section design makes the overlap error between the centerline of the rail head and the centerline of the rail bottom ≤1mm, reducing the serpentine deformation of the track caused by wheel-rail eccentricity and providing a stable running surface for the train. ​

By controlling the content of harmful elements such as sulfur and phosphorus (≤0.025%), it can still maintain stable performance in complex environments such as humid and dusty environments.
