Regular inspections
Appearance inspection: Focus on checking whether the spring bar is broken, deformed, or rusted, and whether the gauge baffle and insulating gauge block are damaged or displaced. Especially in a humid environment, the spring bar is more prone to rust, and the inspection frequency needs to be increased.
Bolt tightening detection: Use a torque wrench to regularly check the torque of the spiral spikes. The torque of S2 and S3 type spikes must meet the standard. Abnormal torque will cause the spring bar to fail and threaten driving safety.

Component maintenance
Spring bar maintenance: Use a feeler gauge to measure the gap between the spring bar and the insulating block. The installation standard is ≤0.5mm, and the maintenance standard is ≤1mm. If it exceeds the standard, it needs to be tightened or replaced. At the same time, apply anti-rust paint to the rusted spring bar in time.
Pad inspection: Regularly check the pad under the rail and the elastic pad under the iron pad. If there is deformation, cracking or loss of elasticity, it needs to be replaced immediately, and the pad surface should be kept clean.

Buried casing maintenance: clean the debris inside the casing to prevent it from affecting the screwing of the spikes; check whether the casing is damaged or floating, and promptly repair or replace the casing with insufficient strength or failed internal threads.
Special environment maintenance
In humid environments, such as tunnels and coastal areas, strengthen the anti-rust treatment of components and promptly clean up the water on the track; in polluted areas, treat the fasteners with anti-corrosion coating for acid and alkali corrosion, increase the inspection frequency, and replace the corroded components immediately.
