Hot pre-bending technology optimizes the straightness of heavy rails

Hot pre-bending technology plays a key role in improving the straightness of heavy rails in the production of national standard heavy rails.
After rolling, heavy rails are prone to bending due to uneven internal stress distribution. Hot pre-bending technology is to apply a certain pre-bending deformation to heavy rails during hot rolling. By accurately calculating and controlling the pre-bending amount, the internal stress of the heavy rails can be reasonably released during the subsequent cooling and straightening process, thereby effectively improving the straightness of the heavy rails.

For example, in a heavy rail production plant, for a 500-meter-long 100-meter heavy rail, before the use of hot pre-bending technology, the full-length curvature of the heavy rail can reach more than 20mm, and after the use of this technology, the curvature can be controlled within 10mm, greatly improving the straightness of the heavy rail. This not only improves the convenience of heavy rail laying, but more importantly, it can ensure the stability of train operation, reduce the impact between wheels and heavy rails, reduce noise, and extend the service life of heavy rails and wheels. Hot pre-bending technology has become an indispensable and important technical means in modern heavy rail production, providing a strong guarantee for the production of high-quality heavy rails.
