In industrial lifting operations, GB crane rails are the core components to ensure the stable operation of equipment. Their materials and load-bearing capacity directly determine the safety and efficiency of the operation.
Analysis of mainstream materials
U71Mn and U75V are commonly used materials for GB crane rails. U71Mn is a medium manganese low alloy steel. The increase in manganese content significantly enhances the strength and toughness of the steel. Under the complex stress generated by frequent lifting operations, U71Mn rails can effectively resist deformation and fracture with good comprehensive mechanical properties. They are suitable for laying crane rails in most industrial plants and can easily cope with the stress challenges brought by frequent daily lifting operations.

| U71Mn | 0.65-0.77 | 0.15-0.35 | 1.0-1.5 | <0.040 | <0.040 | ||||||
U75V material adds vanadium to carbon steel to further optimize the performance of steel. The addition of vanadium gives U75V rails higher strength and excellent wear resistance, and performs well when subjected to heavy loads and high-frequency impacts. In harsh operating environments such as metallurgy and ports, which require extremely high rail wear resistance, U75V rails can effectively extend their service life and ensure the continuous and stable operation of cranes.

Load-bearing capacity and model correspondence
GB crane rails are represented by QU-type special rails, and different models correspond to different load-bearing capacities.

QU70 rail: The theoretical weight of the rail is 52.77kg per meter, and the rail head tread width is 70mm. It is suitable for cranes with a lifting capacity of about 10-20 tons, which are commonly found in light industrial plants. Within this load range, it can operate stably for a long time, ensure the integrity of the rail structure, and meet the lifting needs of various types of goods in light industrial production.

QU80 rail: The theoretical weight per meter is 64.41kg, and its overall structure is slightly strengthened compared to QU70. Cranes that can usually withstand a lifting weight in the range of 20-30 tons are often used in some medium-sized industrial production scenarios that have certain requirements for lifting weight but do not meet the super-heavy standard, such as some mechanical processing workshops. They can stably carry cranes to lift medium-sized machinery and parts.

QU100 rail: The theoretical weight of the rail is 89.05kg per meter, the rail head tread is wider, the structure is stronger, and the load-bearing capacity is greatly improved. It can withstand 30-50 tons or even higher loads. It is widely used in heavy machinery manufacturing plants, large logistics transfer centers and other places. Under the conditions of lifting heavy goods and high-frequency operations, it can still maintain good stability, providing reliable support for the efficient transfer of heavy goods and the manufacturing and assembly of large machinery.

QU120 rail: The theoretical weight per meter is 118.5kg, which is the larger model in the QU series. It has a strong carrying capacity and can generally cope with super-heavy crane operations with a lifting weight of 50-80 tons. It is often seen in large ports, steel mills and other places. The cargoes hoisted in these places are often large in size and heavy in weight, such as large containers and tons of steel raw materials. The QU120 track can safely carry such super-heavy cargoes hoisted by cranes with its own high-strength structure.
Special heavy-duty tracks are occasionally used to meet the needs of hoisting super-large and super-heavy cargoes, such as in port crane operations. These special tracks are made of high-strength alloy steel. By optimizing the cross-sectional shape and increasing the track thickness, the load-bearing capacity is increased to hundreds of tons. The track can also be safe and reliable under extreme loads to meet the stringent requirements of special scenarios.
