Product Introduction
Light rails under GB standards are basic components specially built for medium and low-capacity rail systems, with a weight of no more than 38kg per meter as the core definition standard. Its production must strictly follow GB/T 11264 and other specifications. High-quality iron ore and scrap steel are selected in the steelmaking stage, and smelted in electric arc furnaces or converters to accurately control the content of elements such as carbon, manganese, and silicon. The carbon content is controlled at 0.5%-0.8%, and the manganese content is maintained at 0.6%-1.2%, ensuring that the steel has both strength and plasticity. After the steel billet is formed, it enters a multi-pass hot rolling process. Under a high temperature environment of more than 1100℃, the standard structure of the rail head, rail waist, and rail bottom is gradually shaped through rough rolling, intermediate rolling, and finishing rolling. The dimensional accuracy error of the rail height of 52-107mm and the bottom width of 63-114mm must be controlled within ±0.5mm.
The commonly used materials for P22 light rail are 55Q or Q235. Taking 55Q as an example, "55" represents a carbon content of about 0.55%.
