Heavy-haul railway 75kg/m GB heavy rail is a kind of steel rail specially used for heavy-haul railway. The material is usually U75V. Its chemical composition contains 0.71%-0.80% carbon (C) and 0.04%-0.12% vanadium (V). The carbon content is higher than that of the general material U71Mn. After rolling and heat treatment, the heavy rail has high strength, toughness and high fatigue resistance. It can withstand the huge pressure of the train, and will not break brittlely even under high-frequency load, which can ensure the safe and smooth operation of the train.
