In the foreign trade packaging and transportation of GB heavy rails, steel strapping is the most basic and critical step. Every group of 5-10 heavy rails is first pre-fixed at both ends of the rails with steel wires of moderate thickness to prevent dislocation during transportation, and then cross-bundled with steel straps of 16-19 mm width. The tightening force of the steel straps is controlled at 1200-1500N to ensure that the rails will not loosen during loading, unloading and transportation. After bundling is completed, spray anti-rust oil immediately. After the anti-rust oil is fully penetrated and dried, the entire bundle of rails is tightly wrapped with a plastic film of 0.1-0.15 mm thickness to prevent moisture and dust.
