Working principle of WJ-7 Railway Fasteners System:
T-bolts are clamped on the iron pads, and nuts and flat washers are used to apply buckling pressure to the spring bars to buckle the rails. The insulating blocks ensure insulation between the spring bars and the rails. The rail pads provide elasticity, and the iron pads bear the vertical, horizontal, and longitudinal forces of the train. The vertical force is transmitted to the ballastless track through the height adjustment pads and insulating buffer pads under the iron pads. The longitudinal and horizontal forces are transmitted to the ballastless track through the anchor bolts. The oblong holes at the connection between the iron pads and the anchor bolts can be used for track gauge adjustment.
WJ-7 Railroad Rail Fastening System consists of the following components
Fasteners and connectors:
Spring clip: divided into W1 type and X2 type, W1 type is used in general sections, and X2 type is used in sections with low resistance.
T-bolts, nuts, flat washers: T-bolts are clamped on the iron pads, and the buckling pressure is applied to the spring bars through nuts and flat washers.
Insulating components:
Insulating blocks: used to ensure the insulation performance between the spring bars and the rails. There are two types, No. 9 and No. 10. No. 9 insulating blocks are used during normal installation. When the gap between the insulating blocks and the shoulder of the iron pad is greater than 1mm, they are replaced with No. 10 insulating blocks.
Pad components:
Rail pads: divided into A and B types, each type has rubber pads and composite pads. Type A is limited to the maintenance of high-speed railways that have already used Type A pads, and Type B is suitable for different scenarios such as passenger dedicated lines with different speed levels.
Insulating buffer pad: located under the iron pad, plays an insulating and buffering role.
Rail height adjustment pad (or filling pad): used to adjust the height of the rail, placed between the rail pad and the iron pad, with specifications of 1mm, 2mm, 5mm and 8mm.
Iron pad height adjustment pad: also used to adjust the height of the rail, placed between the iron pad and the insulating buffer pad, with two specifications of 5mm and 10mm.
Support and anchoring components:
Iron pad: bears the vertical, lateral and longitudinal forces of the train, and realizes track gauge adjustment through oblong holes.
Flat pad: plays a certain supporting and adjusting role.
Anchor bolt: cooperates with the embedded sleeve to realize the constraint of the iron pad and transmit the longitudinal and lateral forces of the train.
Embedded sleeve: embedded in the sleeper or track plate, the material is generally nylon, etc., used to fix the anchor bolt.
Other parts: Heavy-duty spring washers are used to enhance the reliability and anti-loosening performance of the connection.
