Rail anchors are installed directly on the base of the rail and fit snugly against the sleeper. They provide a larger support surface for the rail base and sleeper, preventing cutting and abrasion, ultimately extending the sleeper's service life. Rail anchors are manufactured for specific rail weights and base widths. GNEE RAILWAY RAILWAY supplies two types of rail anchors: drive-on rail anchors and spring-type rail anchors.
Rail anchors are used to clamp the base of the rail, holding it firmly against the sides of the sleeper. Rail anchors produced by GNEE RAILWAY RAILWAY are formed in a single piece from spring steel and are designed to prevent track creeping and expansion/contraction.
