  • Anti-Corrosion Treatment

Utilize preservatives such as water-soluble sodium silicate to treat wooden sleepers, extending their service life and preventing decay.

  • Reduce Mechanical Wear

 Increase the area of the pad and decrease the unit pressure on the wooden sleeper's surface to minimize mechanical wear.

  • Prevent Cracks

Control the moisture content before anti-corrosion treatment to prevent cracks. For existing cracks, inject anti-corrosion slurry and clamp tightly, then tie with iron wire to prevent further cracking after installation.

  • Proper Installation

Lay wooden sleepers of uniform size, strength, and durability together in sections during installation. Choose standard-sized, high-quality materials for joints.

  • Orientation and Placement

Place the heartwood downwards and ensure any rounded corners face downwards during installation to enhance stability and durability.

  • Gap Prevention

Place anti-corrosion-treated pads or asphalt-coated jute cloth between the pad and the wooden sleeper to prevent the intrusion of dirt, water, or sand, reducing the risk of decay and mechanical damage.
