Port cranes are large mechanical equipment used for loading, unloading and handling of port cargo. The working range refers to the horizontal distance from the rotation center of the crane to the center line of the spreader. The working range of the gantry crane is usually around tens of meters, and the outreach of the shore container crane (the horizontal distance from the center line of the seaside track to the center line of the outermost spreader) is generally more than 40 meters.
Port cranes are key equipment in the port logistics system, improving loading and unloading efficiency: they can quickly and efficiently complete the loading and unloading of cargo, greatly shorten the ship's stay in the port, and improve the port's throughput capacity.
