Core functions of Insulator
1. Gauge adjustment:
By replacing Insulators of different thicknesses or adjusting their installation positions, the gauge of the rail can be precisely controlled.
2. Transmission of lateral force:
Transmit the lateral force generated by the train to the sleeper or the ballast to prevent the rail from rolling over or shifting.
3. Insulation protection:
Block the current path between the rail and the sleeper to ensure the insulation safety of the electrified railway.
4. Environmental adaptability:
Through salt spray test and weather resistance test, it can adapt to harsh environments such as high cold, hot and humid, and coastal salt spray.
5. Convenient maintenance:
The insulator and the fastener system are fixed by slot or bolt, and can be replaced without disassembling the rail, which greatly shortens the maintenance time.
