Concrete Sleeper Operating Guidelines

  1. In the realm of concrete sleepers, rectify rails (through welding, sanding, etc.) in the presence of joint defects. Rectify the roadbed if it experiences tumbling, uneven sinking, or frost damage exceeding 15 mm.
  2. Lay sleepers with inconsistent slopes of the track-bearing grooves in separate sections, avoiding mixing. Repair damaged sleepers before installation.
  3. Anchor screw spikes with sulfur cement mortar.
  4. Due to its weight, handle, load, unload, and lay concrete sleepers with appropriate tools to prevent smashing, falling, and collisions.
  5. Given the trapezoidal cross-section of concrete sleepers, installing anti-climbing devices is inconvenient. Tighten the rail fastening system to enhance joint strength between the rail track and the railway sleeper, preventing rail crawling.
  6. Use fasteners for concrete sleepers judiciously. For continuous welded rail and rails of 60kg/m and above, employ rail clip fasteners. In curved sections of 800m and below, use 70-type gusset fasteners, with the outer side of the rail requiring a widened iron seat.
