The rolled rail must be straight without significant bending or torsion. Light and heavy rails should not show local bending or torsion exceeding standards, and the deformation and inclination of rail end surfaces must meet specified criteria.
The steel rail surface should be clean and smooth, free from cracks, scars, and scratches. The end face should not exhibit shrinkage marks or interlayer issues. Defects and geometric quantities on the integral surface of light and heavy rails should stay within defined standards.
