Railway fastenings are a crucial part of railroad track operation. They play a key role in fixing railroad rails to sleepers to ensuring safe and stability of running trains. When the train passes, the fastenings in the railway are subjected to powerful impact force and vibrations. What's more, they are facing the challenges of temperature change and corrosion.
Common railway fasteners include rail elastic clip, railway spike, rail pad, rail tie plate, railroad gauge rod, rail anchor, etc. However, there are many small railway fasteners that, despite their seemingly minor size, play a crucial role in maintaining railway operational safety. The following are four types of widely used small railway fasteners:
Rail insulators

A rail insulator is always used to adjust the rail gauge and insulate the rail fastener items from the rails.
We can supply rail insulators for rail fastening systems of E-type rail fastening systems, SKL rail fastening systems and others, with material of Reinforced Nylon 66 (PA66).
Our insulators are available to be used for rails of 60kg (UIC) rail, 52kg rail, 136RE Rail, 90R, 75R, 50R, 60R etc, with properties as below:
| No. | Technical Parameter | Unit | Technical Requirement | Value |
| 1 | Density | g/cm | 1.3-1.45 | 1.45 |
| 2 | Tensile Strength | Mpa | ≥170 | 178 |
| 3 | Elongation | % | ≤4.4 | 4.0 |
| 4 | Bending Strength | Mpa | ≥250 | 290 |
| 5 | Impact Strength | KJ/m2 | ≥80 | 85 |
| 6 | Melting Point | ℃ | 250℃ - 270 | 270 |
