Screw spikes, also known as threaded spikes, are core fasteners used to secure rails. Especially in railway engineering, they connect with sleepers through a threaded structure, providing stronger holding force and pull-out resistance than traditional spikes. Screw spikes produced by GNEE RAILWAY RAILWAY are typically made of Grade 3 steel and are named "screw spikes" due to the threads on the surface of their shanks. Their tensile strength is 0.5 to 1.0 times higher than that of ordinary spikes, but their pushing resistance is 50% lower. Due to the inconvenience of disassembly and assembly and the difficulty in adjusting the gauge, they are generally used in railway turnouts.
