In the vast system of modern engineering construction, the SKL fastener system is like a key gear in a precision instrument. It is the core element to ensure the stable operation of the track structure and is widely used in rail engineering fields such as railways and subways. Its core mission is to firmly connect the track and the sleeper. With its excellent fastening performance, it can effectively resist the huge impact force, vibration and complex mechanical stress generated during the operation of the train, thereby maintaining the geometry of the track and ensuring the safe, smooth and efficient operation of the train.

The SKL fastener system consists of a series of components with different functions and mutual cooperation. As one of the core components, the tension clamp is often made of high-quality spring steel such as 60Si2CrA. This type of steel has undergone a special heat treatment process and has extremely high hardness (42 - 47HRC) and excellent elasticity. When subjected to frequent rolling and vibration of the train, it can not only maintain a stable fastening force, but also withstand up to 5 million cycles of load without breaking, ensuring a tight connection between the track and the sleeper during long-term use.
Screw spikes are also indispensable, with various specifications. The common M24×150mm model has materials including Q235, 35#, 45#, etc. according to different engineering requirements. Q235 material is suitable for daily use on general railways, while in scenarios with extremely high strength requirements such as heavy-duty railways, high-strength materials such as 45# steel can firmly fix the track with its excellent tensile properties to prevent loosening and displacement.

In addition, components such as flat washers, plastic pins, guide plates and track pads also play unique roles. Flat washers can disperse the pressure of screw spikes to prevent damage to the sleeper surface; plastic pins have good insulation and corrosion resistance, which can ensure accurate positioning of components while reducing maintenance costs; guide plates assist in accurate positioning of tracks; track pads effectively buffer the impact force generated by train operation through their own elastic deformation, improving the comfort and durability of the track. These components work together to form a complete and efficient fastening system, which performs well in different types of track projects such as ordinary railways, high-speed railways, and heavy-duty railways, providing a solid guarantee for the development of global rail transportation.
