As core components in railway fastener systems, rail spikes rely on carefully selected materials to ensure their fastening performance, durability, and compatibility with other fasteners. Railway spikes mainly include two types: screw spikes and dog spikes. Among them, spiral spikes further include types such as Ss series Sleeper Screws, Square head screw spikes, Hexagon screw spikes, and Double-head screw spikes.

GNEE RAIL produces these spikes using common materials including A3, Q235, 45#, and 55#. Each material is tailored to different track conditions and matched with various railway fasteners such as elastic clips, fish plates, bolts and nuts, washers, railway base plates, and under-rail pads.
A3 steel is a general-purpose carbon steel widely used in light rail lines and low-traffic branch lines. Spikes made of A3 steel by GNEE RAIL offer good machinability and economy, making them ideal for matching with ordinary elastic clips and rubber pads in scenarios where load requirements are not high. They provide basic clamping force to secure rails to sleepers and cooperate with gauge rods to maintain track alignment.

Q235 steel is a high-quality carbon structural steel that enhances the strength and toughness of spikes. This series of spikes is suitable for medium-load tracks such as local railways and industrial and mining dedicated lines. When used in conjunction with SKL clips or Nabla clamps, Q235 spikes effectively transmit train loads to concrete or wooden sleepers, reducing the stress on fish bolts and ensuring the stability of the entire fastener system.

45# steel is a medium-carbon steel. When producing spikes with this material, GNEE RAIL performs heat treatment to improve the hardness and wear resistance of the spikes. Spikes made of 45# steel are specially designed for heavy-duty applications, including heavy-haul freight lines with high axle loads. They seamlessly heavy-duty elastic clips, reinforced fish plates, and high-strength track bolts, withstanding repeated impact forces and preventing loosening even under prolonged heavy loads.

55# steel is a high-carbon steel with a higher carbon content, featuring excellent wear resistance and compressive strength. This series of spikes is often used in tracks with frequent train passage, such as busy station yards and urban rail transit lines. When 55# steel spikes are combined with anti-loosening bolts and wear-resistant rail pads, the high-strength bolts and wear-resistant rail pads provided by GNEE RAIL enable the spikes to maintain strong gripping force, reducing maintenance frequency and ensuring the long-term reliability of the track fastener system.
GNEE RAIL provides different specifications and types of dog spikes and spiral spikes. During the production process, strict adherence to various standards is ensured, guaranteeing that the spikes can work together with other railway fasteners to ensure the safe operation of trains.
